July Rain Garden

Native perennials are beautiful without watering, even during a drought. I took this picture last night outside my back door.

The pink bloom at lower center is Queen of the Prairie (Filipendula rubra). The spiky white blooms are Culver's Root (Veronicastrum virginicum).
